Established in the California Central Valley in 1997, Sierra Design & Manufacturing has retained deep roots in our local community. Two welders with a vision of quality craftsmanship and excellence in service launched SDM with only one customer. Now, over 20 years later, we have an expanded customer list throughout California. Our shop, located in Modesto, CA, consists of a fabrication department, engineering office, and machine shop in a spacious 16,000 square foot facility. At SDM, we pride ourselves on the reliable quality we consistently provide our customers and our outstanding, hard-working team of knowledgeable and well-trained employees.

SDM specializes in Food Processing Equipment and Custom Sanitary Fittings and Components. Our shop facility provides full service metal fabrication and we have a fully equipped field installation crew and fleet with 24-foot self-contained trailers. Each trailer is capable of supporting up to six people on process pipe installations or field construction of sheet metal, conveyors, elevators, staircases and other food-related jobs.
